Graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1998. He is a long time resident of Ocala and carries on a family tradition of community involvement. He is the owner of Ocala Veterinary Hospital. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. He was a founding member in the partnership with the University of Florida and Pet Emergency Treatment Services (PETS) in the creation of an after hours emergency veterinary clinic.
He works with many species, but his primary areas of interest are internal medicine and exotics. He is committed to the conservation of the earth and all its creatures. He has traveled to Ecuador, gone white water rafting in the rain forest and visited the Galapagos Islands. He has also ventured to Peru and hiked the Inca trail into Machu Pichu before visiting the Amazon. Recently he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to the highest point in Africa before a safari in Tanzania.
He continues to travel the world to enjoy many animal experiences from the penguins and icebergs of Antarctica to the lemurs and chameleons of Madagascar. His future adventures include gorilla trekking in Rwanda, the orangutans of Borneo, and the Komodo dragons of Komodo island.
